That is one of the conclusions of the months-long process to create a 愿景 for PPS. 2018年秋季, the 教育委员会 and the 负责人 of PPS launched a community-wide process to develop a long-term 愿景 for public education in Portland. 这个愿景, created after dozens of community meetings involving hundreds of stakeholders, describes our goals for the graduating class of 2030, and the educational experience that will increasingly be the reality for each of our graduates from 2019 onward.

Portland Public School’s 展望 process will hit the road for a guest spot at one of Portland’s iconic attractions, OMSI.
在周六, 5月11日, the 展望 core team will present an innovative, interactive exhibit of its work so far. PPS launched the 展望 initiative in 2018 as a way to identify and define what PPS can be, 它应该是什么?, 学生们, 工作人员, 家庭 and community can get to a defined and shared “North Star” for the district.
